SOFTIC conducts registration business of software programs as the registrar commissioned by Director-General of Agency for Cultural Affairs based on "Copyright Law" and "The Act Providing Special Regulations for the Registration of Program Works". SOFTIC accept the application by a foreigner.

SOFTIC issues the annual report on the status of the registration, and provides information retrieval service at SOFTIC and through the Internet. We are sorry these are issued and provided in Japanese language only.
