Metaも加州でAI学習で勝訴 - Meta also wins AI Fair Use suit in CA

AI機械学習をFair Useと認めた判決の2日後の6月25日に、同じカリフォルニアで、MetaがAI学習に関する著作権侵害訴訟に関し、Metaの主張を認めるサマリージャッジメントを得た。
同判決は、AI学習の著作権侵害可能性に言及しながら、原告がFair Useの主張に勝つためには市場への影響を明確にしなければならないところ、それをしていなかったため、Fair Useを認めざるを得ないとしている。

Only 2 days after the fair use judgement in California, Northern District of California granted Summary Judgment in favor for Meta in Fair Use argument for AI learning.  Judge says, Plaintiff needed to present decisive evidence on the fourth factor (the effect of the use upon the potential market), but they failed.
