東京地裁、SEPの侵害を理由とするGoogleに対する差止請求を認容
2025年6月23日に東京地裁は、韓国のPantech社が保有する通信技術に関する標準必須特許(SEP)の侵害を理由として、米国Google社に対して、Pixel 7の販売等の差止を命じる判決（仮執行宣言つき）を下した。判決はまだ公表されていないが、報道によれば、裁判所は、被告が裁判所主導の和解協議に非協力的であり、ＦＲＡＮＤ条件によるライセンスを受ける意思を有しないと認定して、権利濫用の抗弁の主張を退けたとのことである。

On June 23, 2025, the Tokyo District Court issued a judgment (with a provisional execution declaration) ordering Google to stop the sale, etc. of Pixel 7 due to infringement of a standard essential patent (SEP) related to communication technology owned by Pantech. Although the decision has not yet been made public, according to press reports, the court rejected the defendant's claim of abuse of rights defense, finding that the defendant was uncooperative in the court-led settlement discussions and was not willing to obtain a license under the FRAND terms.
